Wasabi Powder

The wasabi for used in this wasabi powder is not grown in Japan but rather in northern Tasmania. Northern Tasmania's cool climate, clean air and plentiful rainfall create the ideal year-round environment in which to grow wasabi.

Shima's product does not include horseradish, sugar, salt, green food colouring or any artificial additives, like that of inferior products, only freeze-dried wasabi stalk and stem powder.

To make wasabi paste, just add small amounts of water until the desired consistency is achieved.
