Carnaroli Rice

Ferron Carnaroli is a slightly longer and thinner rice than Vialone Nano with a nutty flavour. It tends to retain its texture and not over-cook easily, making it the ideal rice to use with ingredients that release a lot of liquid such as seafood, tomatoes and mushrooms. Also, great for rice salads and risi in brodo or rice in soup.

 

Ferron rice is grown both organically and sustainably. According to traditional farming methods, fields are routinely left fallow and in non-planting years, corn and medicinal herbs are planted to replenish the soil.
