Fructus Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500ml)

Ardoino use Taggiasche olives grown in the western part of Liguria at approximately 650 metres above sea level. This produces a small crop that ripens later than olives grown in other parts of Italy.

The olives are handpicked and ground to a paste by stone wheels. The oil is cold pressed to ensure that it retains its delicate qualities. After centrifugation, the oil is repeatedly decanted to remove most of the sediment, which avoids the need for any filtration. This means the oil retains its rich golden colour and sweet flavour.
