Do not store the watering can in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Too much exposure to direct sunlight can impact the powder coating. The brass rose will naturally patina over time. The patina is not corrosion. If you wish to return the lustre to the rose, you can do so using a suitable metal cleaner.
