Organic Kabuli Chickpeas
Organic Kabuli Chickpeas
Mount Zero Australian Chickpeas are the Kabuli variety (originating in Afghanistan), and are larger in size, lighter in colour and creamier in texture than the Desi chickpea.
Chickpeas go well with feta, mint, tomatoes and lamb. Also, great in salads and stews.
HOW TO COOK: Soak chickpeas in a large bowl filled with plenty of water overnight (min. 6 hours). After soaking, drain and discard any discoloured chickpeas. Add chickpeas to a saucepan of cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 25 minutes or until cooked to your liking. Season to taste.
TITBIT: All Mt Zero 500g pulse and grain pouches are fully compostable, including the snap seal!
Please note we do not refund or exchange food products.
