Biodynamic Pearled Farro

Farro was a staple grain in the diets of the ancient civilisations of the Middle East.

It is a grain that is high in fibre, Vitamin B, protein and zinc. It has a softer gluten structure than most grains, making it easier on the digestive system.

Pearled Farro has had its bran polished and removed, making it easier and faster to cook. It has a nutty flavour and a chewy texture. It can be substituted for rice, lentils and couscous in soups, salads and more.
