12.5cm Royal Dutch Hoe
12.5cm Royal Dutch Hoe
Developed in 2013, the year of Sneeboer’s centenary, in collaboration with famed UK rose breeder John Scarmann, this hoe went on to be shortlisted for Garden Product of the Year at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show!
There are three innovative features that sets the Royal Dutch hoe apart from the regular push hoe: five sharp teeth on the front of the blade, two sharp cutting edges on the back of the blade with a middle spike and the handle shape.
Basically, it is more comfortable to use, the teeth allow for easier weed removal and the sharpened backside of the blade allows the gardener to remove weeds while walking backwards while leaving no footprints in the soil.

Oil handles for a protective coat against heat and water. Unoiled handles may cause the handle to crack and weaken. We recommend boiled linseed oil. Frequency depends on conditions. At the very least oil handles at the beginning of the gardening season.
