3 Tine Great Dixter Tickling Fork
3 Tine Great Dixter Tickling Fork
This fork was designed by Christopher Lloyd, the creator of the Great Dixter gardens. It is perfect for getting into the tight spaces between plants to weed and work the soil.
The narrow head and flat tines of this long-handled fork make it possible to incorporate compost between plants, minimizing damage to and encouraging growth of plantings.
Particularly suited to cottage gardens and borders, which are packed with plants and self-sowers.

Sneeboer forks are vary durable tools. However forks are digging implements. Using forks to lever out large roots and rocks runs the risk of breaking the head or handle. Using forks to perform the latter is a misuse of the tool and not covered by any warranty. The best tool for levering out roots and rocks is a digging bar. Oil handles for a protective coat against heat and water. Unoiled handles may cause the handle to crack and weaken. We recommend boiled linseed oil. Frequency depends on conditions. At the very least oil handles at the beginning of the gardening season.
