{Information}Care Instructions
Soak new linen in lukewarm water for 20-30 minutes before washing for the first time. The best wash cycle for linen is a short 60 degree C wash cycle with an extra rinse and low spin speed. Wash the linen separately to avoid fibres from other garments sticking to its surface. Wash with a mild detergent without bleach. The best drying method for linen is air drying. Tumble drying reduces the useful life of linen.
A linen towel doesn’t shed, quickly absorbs water, and dries fast – perfect for drying glassware! It also has longevity, and because it is a natural fibre it can be composted at the end of its life.
The Sara towel, with its distinctive three stripes, is inspired by old linen towels and is the first pattern that designer Ingela Berntsson created when Växbo Lin began.
Växbo Lin started its spinning mill in 1989. Based in Hälsingland, they are the only flax spinning mill in Scandinavia that spins, dyes and weaves its own linen.
